Visit to Homewood 30th August 2024
On 30th August, we visited The Homewood, which is a very modern 20th Century house set in the Surrey Woods to the south of Esher. It has been gifted to the National Trust by the last owner.....the son of the original owner / architect. They have brought in tenants who act as caretakers and viewing is by appointment .
The house is very striking with many parts "open plan" and as the guide explains many features reflect the personality of both the father and son.......well worth a visit.
