This wine appreciation group was formed to enable members to learn about and taste a wide selection of wines. Meetings are normally held monthly in members’ houses with the host being responsible for selecting and leading a tasting of six wines. Visits are also arranged to vineyards in England and France. None of the members is an expert but each wants to learn more about wine.

This year the group has continued to meet on a monthly basis with a full membership, usually in members’ homes, but we have had two trips out, firstly to Emsworth and last month to Test Valley Gin at Longparish where we enjoyed the last of the summer sun and the gin!
With a bit of encouragement, wine group Three has been set up so they may have capacity to take new members.
